A 3-part video guide series for the Gen Z community with tips and tricks to dating in 2021. Are you covid-safe?

Hily dating app approached Screen Shot with a challenge: how to make their 18-24-year-old users feel comfortable using the new covid-safe app features and how can Hily own space in the conversation around dating in the new normal.


A multichannel campaign where we worked with rising star Sheerah Revindran that saw some of the most influential relationships and dating talents shed their best tips and advice on dating in the new norm.

Process & Criteria:

  • Understand Hily as a company that values the safety and comfort of their users. The target audience is Gen Z and Millenials.

  • An aesthetic of fun, bold and colour. 

  • Must include Hily's whimsical and wavy graphic asset as well as Logo within motion graphics.


As the lead designer, this project was particularly fun and challenging for me as there was a lot of creative freedom to the campaign. Inspired by the wavy form, the overall theme was ease and comfort; colours that remind you of soft, romantic energy. I carried this thinking to the motion graphics: colour and waves.

The overall campaign drew in clicks and views across channels:

  • Facebook Watch: 53.5K+ views

  • Instagram video: 15.2K+ views

  • Unique landing page: 11.5K+ clicks
