Silent Scream
Moving image | Art Direction | Sound
A piece that explores how humans interpret and express the concept of silence using one of the 5 senses, sight.
Listen to silence. It has so much to say.
Rumi, 2010
What does the idea of silence mean to you?
Silent Scream uses one of the 5 senses to explore this concept.
As an investigation, I interviewed people of all colours and shapes to gather what their thoughts were.
With these answers, I used the recording as a juxtaposition to the screaming person -
silence is never silent.
This was part of a 5 part series based on the human sense,
showcased in Central Saint Martin's Foundation Degree Show 2015
